How To Integrate Group Leads With Mailerlite
I assume you’ve done two things:
- You’ve installed Group Leads and also set up the google sheet for the group you are working on.
- You’ve set up the three questions users would answer while joining your Facebook group.
The last step you need to take is to integrate Group Leads with Mailerlite. Please follow these steps:
1) Log into your Mailerlite account and then click on Subscribers from the left sidebar and choose the Groups tab.
Then, click on create group button to create a new group as shown below.
2) Name your group, then click create.
3) Once your group is created, right click on your group name, and copy the link address. This is to enable you to retrieve the group ID.
Open a NotePad application (on Windows) or TextEdit (on Mac), then paste the link there. Your group url will end up like the below sample URL and you have to find the group keyword and now the numeric value after the group keyword is your group id, here in below case the group id is 56565663400230.
4) After noting this. click on your integrations menu from the sidebar and then Identify the "API", then click Use.
5) Now click on generate new token to create your API token.
6) Enter the name of your token and click on the create token button. Once your token is created you can copy it and paste it in notepad for future use.
7) Now that you’ve gotten the required details. Let’s input it into Group Leads and verify the integration.
Open the GroupLeads extension, go to your group settings, and click on the Autoresponder tab.
8) Then choose the autoresponder you want to integrate, in this case, Mailerlite. Now click on credentials.
9) Open the NotePad where you’ve inputted the collected details. Then, place them as appropriate in the Group Leads dialog box.
10) After that, click on Update.
Congratulations.
You’ve correctly configured Mailerlite with your Group Leads account.
