Using Group Leads to generate leads from your Facebook group

You’ve been able to configure Group Leads with your email marketing software.

What next?

You need to know how to use Group Leads to actually take the leads out of the group and dump them into your Google spreadsheet as well as your email marketing software.

Right now, my spreadsheet is new & empty before approving new members as you can see below.

Now, to approve new group members into this group and take their details to the Google Sheet on file as well as add their email addresses to the configured email list.

I have to select my filter if there is a need. The essence of the filter is to make sure you approve only those you want to get into the group.

For example, in the drop-down questions, you can see the three filters.

By default, All is selected meaning that if there are people who requested to join this group now, either they answer or they don’t answer my questions, once I hit the red custom approve all button, all of them would get into the group, and google sheet.

But I can decide to approve only those that answered all the questions by selecting the Answered all questions filter and then click on the custom approve all button.

Once that is done, all the leads would go into your google sheet as shown below and the email addresses of all newly approved group members would be taken and added to your email marketing software or CRM.

Note 1

Each time you want to approve new members into your group, please make sure you approve one member first before approving everyone else so you won't lose data especially if you're using this for the first time and you're not sure if your settings are okay or not.

Note 2

After approving one person, now check your sheet and autoresponder to see if the data get into the two places. If it does, then everything is alright. You can approve the remaining members

In this case, am using Active Campaign email list integration as an example.

Because I approved just one person into the group, I was able to get the email address of the new member into Active Campaign as you can see below.

Whichever email marketing software you are using, so far you’ve set up your integrations the right way, the new members’ emails would definitely be added to your email specified email list.

With this, you have been able to generate leads from your Facebook group to your Google Sheet and eventually your autoresponder.

Thank you.
