How to Integrate Group Leads With Hubspot

Connecting your HubSpot CRM account to GroupLeads allows you to automatically push Facebook Group member email addresses, custom Q&A answers, and contact information directly into your HubSpot contact lists and sales pipelines.

Follow the step-by-step guide below to create your HubSpot Static Segment/List, generate a Service Key (or Private App Access Token), and connect them using the CRM tab in the GroupLeads Chrome Extension.

Prerequisites

  • An active HubSpot CRM account.
  • GroupLeads Chrome Extension installed and connected to a Google Sheet.
  • Facebook Group membership questions configured.

Step 1: Create a Static Segment / List in HubSpot

  1. Log in to your HubSpot Dashboard.
  2. In the left navigation sidebar, click Contacts → Segments (or CRM → Lists).
  3. Click the Create segment button in the top-right corner.

  1. On the segment review modal, under Choose processing type, select Static (static lists allow GroupLeads to add new group members directly).
  2. Name your segment (e.g., Facebook group members), then click Save and process segment.

Step 2: Find and Copy Your HubSpot List ID

  1. Open your newly created segment in HubSpot.
  2. Look at your browser's address bar URL: https://app-eu1.hubspot.com/contacts/[PortalID]/objectLists/[ListID]/filters
  3. Copy the numerical List ID string located right after objectLists/ in the URL (e.g., 13 or 2) and save it in a temporary text file or notepad.

Step 3: Generate a Service Key (or Private App Token) in HubSpot

To connect GroupLeads securely via API:

  1. Click the Settings icon (⚙) in the main top navigation bar of HubSpot.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Integrations → Service Keys (or Private Apps).

  1. Click Create service key in the top right corner.

  1. Enter a name for the key (e.g., groupleads), select the required CRM scopes (contacts and lists permissions), and click Create.
  2. Click the Scopes tab and select the following CRM permissions:
    • crm.objects.contacts.read
    • crm.objects.contacts.write
    • crm.lists.read
    • crm.lists.write
  3. Click Create app in the top right corner and confirm Continue creating.
  4. Under the Access Token section, click Show token.
  5. Copy your private app access token (starts with pat-eul-... or pat-na1-...) and save it in your notepad.

Step 4: Open GroupLeads and Access the CRM Tab

Now switch to your browser extension to complete the connection:

  1. Open Google Chrome and launch the GroupLeads Chrome Extension.
  2. Click the gear / settings icon (⚙) next to your Facebook Group name.
  3. Click the CRM tab in the top navigation bar (located between Setup and Auto Responder).
  4. Toggle ON the Enable CRM switch to activate CRM integration and automation.

Step 5: Configure HubSpot Credentials and Verify

  1. Under CRM Integration, select Hubspot from the dropdown list.
  2. Toggle ON Send Questions/Answers to Hubspot (if you want member Q&A responses saved).
  3. Enter your saved credentials into the respective input fields:
    • API Token *: Paste your HubSpot Access Token / Service Key.
    • List ID *: Paste your numerical HubSpot List ID (e.g., 13).
    • (Optional) Check Add subscriber without email if you want members without email addresses added as contacts.
  4. Click Verify & Update to validate your credentials and save the connection. Once saved, a green Connected badge will appear.

✅ You're all set! Your HubSpot account is now fully integrated with GroupLeads. Every approved Facebook Group member will automatically be added as a contact in HubSpot, assigned to your static list, and enrolled in your CRM pipelines.
