How to Integrate Group Leads with Shopify

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have completed the following:

• Installed the Group Leads Chrome extension.
• Set up a Google Sheet for the Facebook group you are working on.
• Configured your Facebook group membership questions, including a request for an email address.

Follow these Steps to Integrate Group Leads with Shopify

Step 1. Set Up a Shopify App

1. Log into Shopify Admin: Go to Shopify Admin.
2. Navigate to Settings: Click on Settings in the bottom-left corner.

   

3. Open App Management: Select Apps and Sales Channels.

   

4. Develop a New App:
   • Click on Develop Apps.
   • Click Create an App.
   • Enter an app name in the popup modal and click Create App.
5. Configure Admin API Scope:
   • On the Overview tab, click Configure Admin API Scope.
   • Check the required API permissions listed in the bracket (read_analytics, read_apps, write_customers, read_customers, read_customer_events, write_discovery, read_discovery, write_customer_merge, read_customer_merge).
   • Click Save.
6. Generate API Credentials:
   • Go to the API Credentials tab.
   • Click Install App.
   • Confirm installation in the popup modal.
   • Click Reveal Token Once to view your API token.
   • Copy and save the API token in a Notepad for later use.
7. Get Your Store URL:
   • Go to Domains in Shopify settings.
   • Copy your store URL in the format: abc.myshopify.com.
   • Save it in the Notepad alongside the API token.

Step 2. Integrate Shopify with Group Leads

1. Open the Group Leads Extension:
   • Navigate to your Group Settings.
   • Click on the Autoresponder tab
2. Choose Shopify as the Autoresponder:
   • Turn ON the "Enable Autoresponder" switch
   • Click on Credentials.
   • Enter tags in the tag field. You can add a single tag or multiple tags by separating them with commas to assign them to the group member
   • Enter the saved API token and Store URL in the corresponding fields.
3. Verify and Save the Integration.
