How to Manually Install GroupLeads in Chrome (Developer Mode)
Manually install the latest unpacked GroupLeads Chrome extension build from Google Drive. Use this guide if you need an urgent feature update or bug fix before it is approved on the Chrome Web Store.
Prerequisites
- Google Chrome browser installed on your computer.
- Download link for the latest GroupLeads
.zipbuild file.
Step 1: Download the Latest GroupLeads Zip Build
Click the provided download link to open Google Drive, then download the .zip archive file to your computer.

Step 2: Extract the Downloaded Zip Archive
Locate the downloaded .zip file on your computer and extract its contents:
- Windows: Right-click the
.zipfile and select Extract All... or Extract Here. - Mac: Double-click the
.zipfile to expand the folder automatically.
Note: Ensure the extracted folder remains saved in a permanent location on your hard drive (e.g., your Documents folder). Do not delete this folder after installation.

Step 3: Open Chrome Extensions and Enable Developer Mode
Open Google Chrome, type chrome://extensions/ into the URL address bar, and press Enter. Toggle the Developer mode switch in the top right corner of the page to ON

Step 4: Load the Unpacked Extension Folder
Click Load unpacked at the top left of the Extensions page. In the file browser window, select the extracted GroupLeads folder, then click Select Folder (or Open on Mac)

Step 5: Pin GroupLeads to Your Chrome Toolbar
Click the Extensions puzzle icon (🧩) in your Chrome toolbar next to your profile icon, locate GroupLeads, and click the Pin icon to pin it for quick access.

✅ You're all set — the unpacked version of GroupLeads is installed and ready to use in your browser.
IMPORTANT
Temporary Installation Notice: Installing via Developer Mode is intended for temporary use. Once the official update is published on the Chrome Web Store, remove this unpacked version and reinstall from the Web Store to receive automatic future updates.
