Approving Members Using GroupLeads Red Button
Introduction
GroupLeads simplifies the process of approving new members in your Facebook group while automating data collection. By using the red approval button, you can seamlessly add new members to a Google Sheet and a CRM, as well as send them a welcome message via Messenger. This guide walks you through setting up and using GroupLeads efficiently.
Before You Begin
If you want to send Welcome Message to the approved members before approving members, follow these steps:
- Click on Group Settings.
- Go to the Auto Responder tab.
- Enable the Welcome Message option.
- Edit the GroupLeads template message to your preference.
Step 1: Open Your Facebook Group
Navigate to the Member Requests page in your Facebook group.
Step 2: Ensure GroupLeads is Set Up
Once properly set up, all Facebook Approve buttons will turn red. These buttons add extra functionalities like:
- Adding the member to Google Sheets.
- Sending their data to a CRM.
Step 3: Choose an Approval Method
You have three options for manually approving members:
1. Single Approve Option
- Click on the Approve & Send Message button next to each member request.
2. Approve Selected Members
- Select the checkbox beside the contacts you want to approve.
- Click on the Approve Selected button.
3. Custom Approve First X Members
- This option approves the number of people specified in the settings.
- Go to the Extension Settings and set the Custom Approve First X Value to your preferred number.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once members are approved using any of these methods:
- They will receive a welcome message in Facebook Messenger.
- Their data will be added to Google Sheets.
- Their information will also be sent to the selected CRM.
